You Know Your Doing Something Right When the Devil is Smear Campaigning You…

All that needs to be said to that is…. this…

Of course this would be a prime time to call some people out and expose EVERYTHING that’s been going on my WHOLE LIFE, but I simply don’t have it in me.

Although my whole life as the scapegoat of the family has given me plenty to go on, I simply don’t and wont do it. If I have anything in life, its my truth. And of course I want to use my truth and to use it as a source of hope and light for someone else. The great thing, though, is that I’ve already given it to the Only One who can do anything about it. While its a lot harder to do than just say I’ll do, I want to walk down that path to freedom, justice, and healing from living in the will of God for me.

My Heavenly Father has promises that He wants to fulfill in my life. The above verse is one of those promises. Isaiah 54:17 is the Lord’s words and He says that if you are fulfilling your service to Him and the devil creeps up on you, He will have your revenge. This isn’t the only time in Holy scripture in which He reminds us that He has our backs and that vengeance is HIS. So what does that mean for ANYONE who follows Jesus?

It means that the Man Upstairs already knows that you’ll be met with pushback and threats, smear campaigns, or bullying and harassment, and He already has your vengeance coming to those who dare to undermine your faith. Comforting isn’t it? It can really open up doors to fully living out our purpose without fear. Don’t you think?

Think about this, if you are, say, trying to start a blog while healing and you think you know, “Hey! I can’t be the only one who’s been through trials similar to mine. Maybe, I can use my biggest downfall (my past) to show what God has done for me, to give hope and encouragement to everyone who reads the blog.” Then, someone gets hurt because they don’t like my truth and threatens me that they’ll twist the truth on somethings about my husband and that will shut me up!

Well, unfortunately, that isn’t going to do it. Yes, my husband has a past! I too have a past, so what’s your point? My husband has spent over 12 years repaying his debt to society, and he has NO secrets. His information is all over the internet. But his one huge mistake has already been forgiven and he isn’t afraid and wants me to speak my truth.

Who doesn’t have one HUGE mistake that you can’t undo? Don’t you think that God sees all sin (mistakes) as equal? Do you think that your mistakes are any less than anyone else’s? Also, do you continue to live the same life that’s bred your mistakes? Or have you let Jesus wash you clean finally?

God does see all sin as equal, and no one’s sin is more or less than the next person’s, and everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) However, it’s hard to have Jesus wash you clean of your dirty past when your past is still your present. Thank God that I have a Jesus-loving man who has been washed clean by the MAN Himself!

It is my personal goal in life to heal and recover and I intend to recover out loud! No one will sway what God has saved me to do.

God knows my heart. God knows my desires. And God is all I’m concerned with. And My God is MUCH bigger than anything.~ My mantra, and if you are finding yourself in a similar situation, you may use it. It really reminds me that no matter what as long as I am working within the will of my Lord and Savior, I can’t be deterred. God is bigger and badder and you can rest on the promises from the ultimate Promise Keeper.
